Oran Eldor not only performed his new piece with our musicians and vocalists, but explained both his process and his concept of development for this piece.
He starts with the text. He gets at the essence of the language and looks for a way to set the text to music in a way that elevates the singer and the congregation toward a higher level of connection to the divine.
Oran, you succeeded beyond your most ambitious objective, though you described it in the most modest way. Thank you for the gift of your talent and working with our Hazzan, to give us our own song!
— Joel Goldhammer, President, Agudas Achim Congregation
