Oran Eldor

Composed Mythic: Charing Cross Theatre, London (2018), The Segal Center,  Montreal (2019) - sold out, extended run in both theaters. 

Oran’s TV credits include writing music for Peg+Cat (PBS), The Game (NBC) and Sesame Street (Israel). As well as arranging and orchestrating Kristin Chenoweth TV Special Coming Home.

Oran wrote Dance Arrangements for the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2015) 

For the concert stage, Oran penned orchestrations for John Legend, Andrea Bocelli, Kristin Chenoweth, New York Philharmonic, L.A Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, New York Pops, Alan Menken, as well as Disney Parks and Disney Cruise line. 

Oran is a Composition Fellow at the Royal Opera House, London; A member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop, and holds a B.Mus from Berklee College of Music. 

For Mythic, Oran was nominated for “The Stage” Debut Awards: Best Composer in London, and for a META award “Best Composer” in Montreal.

In the classical music field, Oran is a sought after orchestrator and conductor and is a composer in residence with the “Salome” chamber orchestra in New York.

Born and raised in Israel, Oran quickly became one of the top music directors and composers for Israeli theater, working at Habima National Theater, The Cameri Theater of Tel Aviv and Lessin Theater.

In addition, Oran is also a prominent composer of contemporary Jewish prayer music and composer in residence of Park Avenue Synagogue whose prayers are sung regularly by hundreds of people in New York, Washington D.C, Miami, Los Angeles and London.
